The name "Nile Lata" has been pronounced in numerous ways.. N-EYE-OL LAY-TUH; NEE-OL LAH-TA; Nile Latte; Nile LAH-TAH; etc.

To me, it doesn't matter how you pronounce it. The music stays the same :)

I'm a Maryland kid, so I grew up on Go-Go music from D.C. and Club music from B-more. Also: Asian Pop. Hip-Hop was introduced to me by my brother. My first album: "The Message" by GMF & F5; the first album to change my life: "Kool & Deadly" by Just-Ice. Beatboxing and lunch room beats was my first contribution to the [Hip-Hop] culture; and didn't start beatmaking until 1998 in Job Corps. At that point, I started studying production techniques and considered it as a serious profession.
